Who is P. G. Wodehouse?

P. G. Wodehouse (1881-1975) is qhite simply, the greatest, funniest writer who ever walked the earth. He wrote over ninety books in his lifetime. All of them are hilarious. His most famous character, Jeeves, has become synonomous with butlering, despite the fact that he was a valet, not a butler. He also wrote numerous plays, song lyrics, movie scripts, short stories, and other stuff. He was made a knight just before he died.

Why should I read P. G. Wodehouse?

He's the best writer who ever put pen to paper. If you have a sense of humor that runs deeper that Jim Carey type movies, than you should read him.
